    Where will you be working?

    We help our clients safeguard the water supply, improve environmental performance and manage demand for future generations. We enhance and extend asset life, ensuring compliance with water quality and environmental standards.  We’re problem solvers with over 140 years of combined experience in engineering and infrastructure.

    This role will be within our MEICA and capital maintenance team. Our Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Control & Automation (MEICA) experts offer a one-stop solution, including ongoing operation and maintenance services.

    What will you be doing? 

    As our Electrician you'll be working independently or as part of a team on projects primarily in the water & waste water, power distribution and petrochemical industries.

    You'll be testing, calibrating, installing, repairing and inspecting all flow, monitoring and analytical instruments used within the water industry.
     
    Carrying out installation/commissioning works of new telemetry RTU’s on small assets like WWPS and CSO’s. You'll use your expertise to work on operational plants without affecting its operation.
     
    You'll need to ensure that site installation works and quality match both design and appropriate industry standards. You'll attend and contribute to internal, and occasionally, external progress meetingsParticipate in design co-ordination with other engineering disciplines and professionals.
     
    We'll support and encourage your continual professional development including professional registration.
     

    What you’ll bring 

    A broad range of key skills are required, including:

    • Do you have an electrical background?
    • Do you have knowledge of the current Wiring Regulations?
    • A current SJIB grade card or equivalent.
    • Have you gained experience in testing, calibration, installation, repair and inspection of all flow, monitoring and analytical instruments?
    • Do you hold a full UK driving licence?
    • Compex certificate advantageous
    • Confined space trained advantageous
    • Ability to work efficiently in a team environment, and to manage Clients.
    • Good Working knowledge of Safety, Health Environment and Quality Procedures
