This role will be within our Water and wastewater capital project delivery - Our teams deliver large-scale capital programmes aimed at keeping water infrastructure resilient for the long-term while protecting the environment.

What will you be doing?
As our Progressive Metering Store person you'll be responsible for the efficient and accurate management of metering equipment. Focusing on the issuing, delivery, and tracking of progressive metering units.
You'll need to ensure the timely delivery of metering equipment to site, maintain accurate records, and contribute to the successful implementation of the metering plan.
You'll receive, inspect, and store metering equipment, ensuring accurate inventory records. Issue meters and associated equipment to technicians and project teams as required.
Maintain accurate records of meter serial numbers, calibration dates, and other critical information. Ensure meters are stored and handled in accordance with manufacturer guidelines and company procedures. Transport metering equipment to various site locations using company vehicles.
Plan delivery routes to ensure timely and efficient delivery of equipment. Accurately record critical information related to meter installations and removals. Communicate effectively with supervisors, project managers, and technicians to coordinate meter deliveries and installations.
Provide updates on meter availability and delivery schedules. Address any issues or concerns related to meter equipment or deliveries. Provide feedback to supervisors on stock levels.
Ensure vehicles are maintained and operated safely. Report any safety hazards or incidents to supervisors.
