    Where will you be working?

    We help our clients safeguard the water supply, improve environmental performance and manage demand for future generations. We enhance and extend asset life, ensuring compliance with water quality and environmental standards.  We’re problem solvers with over 140 years of combined experience in engineering and infrastructure.

    This role will be within our Water and wastewater capital project delivery team. Our teams deliver large-scale capital programmes aimed at keeping water infrastructure resilient for the long-term while protecting the environment.

    What will you be doing? 

    • Project responsibility for the safe, efficient delivery of projects
    • Lead and promote a safe zero harm culture
    • Promote industry leading behavioural culture
    • Follow MGroup Water  Business Management Systems and processes to ensure right first time delivery in a quality controlled environment
    • Write RAMS, IPS, briefings, TBTs, NCRs, issue permits and  manage temporary works on site.
    • Manage Engineers and Supervisors
    • Manage labour, plant and materials
    • Manage customers and general public impacted by our works
    • Developing and delivering Project Management Plans including environment, quality, safety, health and wellbeing
    • Undertake safety audits and inspections

    What you'll bring

    Do you hold a Degree/HND/HNC or equivalent in construction management or engineering?
     
    Ideally we'd like you to have experience of water or waste water infrastructure. 
     
    Do you have a SMSTS certificate?
     
    Due to the nature of the role we'd like you to hold a Thames Water Passport and an understanding of Temporary Works requirements. 
     
    We'd like you to have control of costs and value management along with Health and Safety training or a recognised certification such as NEBOSH or something similar.
