What will you be doing?
Business Partnering & Stakeholder Support
- Partner with senior leaders and department heads to support strategic and operational decision-making.
- Provide financial insight and constructive challenge on performance, investment cases, and cost management.
- Translate financial data into clear, actionable recommendations for non-finance stakeholders.
- Build a detailed understanding of customers, contracts, services, market dynamics and operational performance drivers.
- Form strong, trusted relationships across the organisation.
Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)
- Lead budgeting and forecasting processes for assigned business areas.
- Develop robust financial models to support scenario planning and strategic initiatives.
- Deliver monthly performance reporting, including variance analysis and commentary.
- Identify risks and opportunities, recommending corrective actions where required.
Performance Management
- Monitor KPIs and financial metrics to ensure delivery against targets.
- Analyse revenue, margin, and cost drivers to improve profitability.
- Support development of performance dashboards and management reporting tools.
- Drive continuous improvement in financial processes and reporting.
Commercial & Strategic Support
- Evaluate business cases, investment proposals, and new initiatives.
- Conduct cost-benefit and ROI analysis.
- Support pricing strategy, contract negotiations, and cost optimisation initiatives.
- Contribute to long-term strategic planning cycles.
Governance & Controls
- Ensure compliance with financial policies, controls, and regulatory requirements.
- Support audit processes and provide required documentation.
- Promote financial awareness and accountability across the business.
What you’ll bring
- Proven experience in a finance business partnering and or FP&A role.
- Strong commercial acumen and experience supporting operational teams.
- Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, change-oriented environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills.
- Ability to present complex financial information clearly and concisely.
- Advanced Excel and financial modelling capability.
- High attention to detail with strong organisational skills.
- Ability to challenge constructively and drive accountability.
