Reporting into the Capital works planning manager the successful Assistant Project Manager will help and support the successful delivery of our London Roads projects and supporting permitting, ensuring they are within budget and on time, whilst managing stakeholder and supplier relationships.
This role is a 12-month fixed term contract and is a Hybrid role based from in our Feltham depot TW14 0AF at least 2 days a week.
What you’ll do:
- Provide day to day management of assigned projects, providing regular and effective communication and prioritisation.
- Will include both office & customer site-based work as required to ensure management of assigned daily activities to ensure compliance with project delivery requirements for quality, safety, and environmental standards, plus Telent and client QEHS procedures.
- Manage assigned aspects of project delivery,
- Manage variations to defined project scope and objectives.
- Assist in the financial performance of assigned project activities, including monitoring and reporting through designated systems.
- Management of assigned project controls to achieve project Key Performance Indicators (KPI's), highlighting and managing associated risks & issues and their mitigations

Key Requirements:
- Confident managing stakeholder relationships and opportunities to attend client meetings
- Awareness of Financial and commercial practices
- Practical use of Microsoft office packages, use of ServiceNow, Oracle and Document Management Systems
- Ability to operate with minimal supervision in a complex environment
- Highly organised with the ability to work well under pressure
- 12 month Fixed Term Contract
