Where will you be working?
At M Group Telecom, we’re enabling and enhancing telecom networks, playing a lead role in the delivery of our tech enabled future.
We deliver full network cycle services for fixed, private and mobile operators.
This role will be within our mobile networks - We keep the country connected through the survey, design, installation and maintenance of private 5G networks, small cells, supporting Smart Cities & Connected infrastructure.

What will you be doing?
We are looking for an experienced, qualified accountant to join the M Group Technology & Communications - Mobile Finance team based in West Byfleet. This is a new role to support and manage some of the existing team through a period of significant growth, add value to the finance function and improving its impact across the business. The ideal candidate will be used to collating, analysing and interpreting data from various sources and presenting to both finance and non-finance stakeholders. They will also be used to reviewing, improving and optimising processes as well as managing part qualified staff.
Responsibilities:
- Consolidation and process improvement for various month end reporting deliverables for both Divisional and Group reporting
- Support annual Budgeting and Forecasting processes
- Review and improve methods of allocation for costs
- Reviewing and posting of journals to Oracle
- Supporting the Divisional Finance team with balance sheet reconciliations
- Assist with resolving AP and AR issues and supporting the Divisional Finance team with managing aged debtors and creditors
- Regular cashflow reporting
- Establishment of consistent and reliable FTE/headcount reporting
- Payroll/Overtime and associated costing checking and approval
- Management and approval of intercompany transactions
- Support with year end process
- Work with Commercial team to provide challenge to CVR process
- Ad hoc support to the Head of Finance
What you’ll bring:
- Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA), Degree (preferred)
- 5 years+ experience working in finance teams, ideally in a similarly sized business
- Strong excel skills
- Experience working with Oracle or similar ERP system
