Delivering essential infrastructure services for life, while being safety first, and client and customer centric in a friendly, fun and respectful environment where you are encouraged to thrive.

    Where will you be working?

At M Group Telecom, we’re enabling and enhancing telecom networks, playing a lead role in the delivery of our tech enabled future.

We deliver full network cycle services for fixed, private and mobile operators.

Private networks- We find the best technology, manage assets and refresh systems. With 24/7 network operations, we keep things running smoothly, while operating comprehensive network repair and maintenance to keep everything in top shape.

Want to come and be a part of it?

    What will you be doing?

We're looking for an experienced Electrical Supervisor to lead, support and develop our team of electricians across a variety of telecoms infrastructure projects. Ideally based in a central UK location or near St Ives, you'll be comfortable travelling to sites across the UK and staying away from home on occasion as business needs require.

In this role, you'll champion a zero-harm safety culture, ensuring the highest standards of safety, compliance and quality are maintained at all times. You'll lead and coach a team of electricians, supporting their development while ensuring training, competencies and accreditations remain up to date. You'll work closely with Delivery, Project, Resourcing and Field Management teams to plan and deliver work safely, efficiently and to the required standards, while building strong relationships with customers, stakeholders and colleagues across the business.

We'll rely on you to drive continuous improvement through site audits, performance monitoring and the investigation of incidents, ensuring lessons learned are embedded into future ways of working. You'll also take ownership of electrical assets, equipment and compliance records, ensuring everything is maintained and managed in line with client and business requirements. As a hands-on leader, you'll spend around 10% of your time undertaking electrical installation, commissioning, testing, certification, troubleshooting, site surveys and RAMS preparation across telecoms, data centre and substation environments, helping to support successful project delivery from start to finish.

    What you’ll bring?

    • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, safety regulations, industry standards and fault-finding techniques.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong IT literacy and analytical problem-solving ability.
    • Full UK Driving Licence and NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Electrical Installation or Engineering.
    • Current 18th Edition Wiring Regulations, City & Guilds 2391-52 (or 2394/2395 equivalent), ECS Card, AM2 and IOSH Working Safely certification.
    • SMSTS or SSSTS qualification preferred.
    • Proven supervisory or management experience within the telecoms industry.
    • Strong DC power systems experience and previous Qualified Supervisor (QS) responsibility.
    • Experience using industry-standard electrical testing equipment and working in safety-first environments.
    • Willingness to travel and stay away from home as per business needs.
