What you'll be doing?
You'll be leading the commissioning function across the regional area, ensuring all projects are appropriately resourced and supported, while working closely with the wider project delivery team to monitor and manage critical project milestones and dates.
You'll be supporting project teams by developing and approving commissioning plans, ensuring programme durations are realistic and that methodologies are accurately detailed within method statements.
You'll be monitoring standards across the commissioning function, ensuring full compliance with client specifications and adherence to BGEN procedures.
You'll be taking direct line management responsibility for the Commissioning Team within your geographical area.
You'll be coaching and developing team members, ensuring individual development plans are in place and all required training is completed to enable them to perform their roles effectively.
What you'll bring?
- Do you have an electrical and/or instrumentation background, ideally qualified to HND/HNC level or equivalent?

Do you have proven instrumentation, electrical and mechanical experience, including full commissioning phase experience covering installation, dry testing, wet testing and process testing?

Do you hold an 18th Edition qualification (BS7671)?

Do you have the ability to hold Authorised Person status under the BGEN Electrical Safety Rules (ESR) and issue permits?

Do you hold an SSSTS or SMSTS qualification, or would you be willing to undertake training to achieve this?

Do you have a strong understanding of electrical installations and control systems, including control panels, MCCs, PLCs, SCADA, telemetry and instrumentation?
- Do you have experience and competence in understanding and managing control system replacements?
