Where will you be working?
At M Group Telecom, we’re enabling and enhancing telecom networks, playing a lead role in the delivery of our tech enabled future.
We deliver full network cycle services for fixed, private and mobile operators.
This role will be within our Finance Team, you’ll join our people who support providing turnkey solutions for the surveying, designing, building and commissioning new networks, while supporting the repair, maintenance and operation of existing networks.

What will you be doing?
We are looking for someone who understands how finance supports business decisions. You will work closely with teams across the Telecoms Division. You will help them understand costs, spot trends, and make choices that support growth.
This role is about building trust. You will explain numbers in a way that makes sense. You will help people see what is working and what needs to change. You will guide teams to use their budgets well and plan for the future.
You will work with senior leaders. You will help them look ahead and make decisions based on facts. You will also check that plans match what the business needs. You will make sure that risks are clear and that actions are taken when needed.
You will be part of a wider finance team. You will share ideas and learn from others. You will help improve how things are done. You will also support junior colleagues and help them grow.
This role suits someone who enjoys solving problems. You will need to be calm under pressure and able to explain things clearly. You will need to understand how a business works and how finance fits in.
You will have experience in a similar role. You will know how to work with data and how to turn it into useful insight. You will be confident using finance systems and tools. You will also be able to work with people at all levels.

What you’ll bring;
You will be a qualified accountant. You may have trained through CIMA, ACCA or ACA. You will have worked in finance for a number of years and gained experience after qualifying. You will understand how finance supports decision-making and how to explain financial matters in a way that others can understand.
You will have worked in a role where you supported business teams. You will know how to build relationships and how to help others use financial information to make choices. You will have led or supported people and helped them develop. You will be comfortable guiding others and sharing your knowledge.
You will have used finance systems in your work. You may have worked with Oracle Cloud or a similar system. You will be used to working in a business that is mid-sized or larger. You will understand how shared services or outsourced teams operate and how to work with them.
You will be confident using Excel. You will know how to use it to look at data and find patterns. You will be able to turn numbers into insight and help others understand what they mean.
You will bring a calm and thoughtful approach. You will be able to work with detail and also see the bigger picture. You will be someone who listens, explains clearly, and works well with others.
