Where will you be working?
We help our clients safeguard the water supply, improve environmental performance and manage demand for future generations. This role will be within our MEICA and capital maintenance team. Our Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Control & Automation (MEICA) experts offer a one-stop solution, including ongoing operation and maintenance services.

What will you be doing?
As our Telemetry Technician you'll have to opportunity to work closely with Telemetry Engineers. Assist with any project needs both in the office and out on site assisting our engineers.
You'll be responsible for the preparation of test records and O&M documentation. Completion of test documentation.
We'll train you in hardware FAT and WAT testing of telemetry systems & top end web based testing of telemetry projects.
You'll take responsibility of the telemetry workshop area. Ensure the test and stock areas are well maintained. Working together with the stores staff.
We'll train you in software configuration of Telemetry outstations to clients exacting requirements including RTU code, Modbus implementation. Also we'll teach you in the compilation of mimics and signal configuration listings for import to Client’s Top End system.
You'll be able to plan and prioritise workload effectively. Initiate dialog with wide range of personnel to obtain information and close issues.
What you’ll bring
- A full UK driving licence as the position will involve travel throughout Scotland
- The ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a team environment.
- Good working knowledge of Safety, Health Environment and Quality Procedures
- Able to integrate well into a team as well as work independently.
- Strong communication skills all levels with the client, suppliers, contractors and design team.
