Where will you be working?
As an organisation, there is little we don’t do and plenty to get involved in. Our Group Support roles are vital in making sure we can help over 11,000 people deliver essential infrastructure seamlessly across water, energy, transport and telecom.
This role is in our Plant & Fleet department, Plant & Fleet supports teams across our business with their vehicle, plant and specialist equipment needs, offering hire solutions that are commercially effective, reliable, safe and compliant.
This is a fixed term contract for 3 months.

What will you be doing?
You’ll carefully sort and prepare items that are ready to be sent for calibration, ensuring everything is in order.
Also thoughtfully package calibrated items, keeping them secure and ready for their next step.
You’ll get to organise delivery or collection arrangements with 3rd party providers, making the process smooth and efficient. As well as keep in touch with calibration providers—follow up and stay on top of progress for any items currently undergoing calibration.
You’ll ensure systems are updated as needed, including scanning certificates and uploading them promptly to the system.
Finally, you’ll take charge of raising Purchase Orders (POs) while striving for cost-effective, high-quality solutions that align with the needs of M Group.
What you’ll bring
- Good Administration skills.
- Ability to communicate across all levels internally & externally.
- Experience of Purchase Order processing.
- Good IT and system skills, with understanding and use of scheduling.
- Good attention to detail.
- Flexible approach to working, with a can do work ethic.
