Morrison Water Services are currently looking to recruit an Electrical Project Engineer to work on our CWA contract in Scotland.

As an Electrical Project Engineer you will be part of our MEICA Team who are responsible for Delivery of turnkey MEICA solutions on the CWA projects for Scottish Water within Major Projects, Wastewater capital Maintenance and Treated water storage projects.  You will be responsible for the electrical element of project engineering through the initial engagement with Scottish Water to project handover, ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of all projects in line with agreed budgets and timescales; planned and executed to the highest standards.

As the Electrical Project Engineer your duties & responsibilities will include:

  • To be accountable to the Site Project Manager for the electrical element of the project engineering and installation works
  • Provide technical and administrative support to the MEICA project team to ensure safe and efficient delivery of capital projects
  • To provide industry leading technical solutions for our existing client base and provide technical support to the MEICA business unit offering electrical expertise to support the management and safe delivery of the MEICA installation
  • Provide support to the MEICA Management team in all MEICA related project elements of design and delivery
  • Carry out the role of Site Manager of the MEICA delivery element if required.
  • Produce safe systems of work/procedures/MEICA documentation as required and review and compile tenders and quotes for individual projects and provide risk management input for the MEICA elements of individual projects

Skills & Knowledge Requirements

  • Experience in a similar role
  • Able to deliver engaging, informative and well-organised presentations.
  • Involvement within a contract management team driving a project forward
  • Innovative and thinking outside the box
  • Health & Safety leadership
  • Experience with mentoring and supporting other members of the MEICA team
  • Effective communication
