About the role

Morrison Water Services is currently looking to recruit a Non-Household Metering Case Handlers for the Non Household Metering Team to work on our Thames Water Metering contract in Langley, Berkshire.

As a member of the Non Household Metering Team you will be responsible for the validation and management of all aspects of Non Household Metering work requested by Retailers or Wholesaler. You will be required to ensure the work is validated compliantly and raised with all the relevant checks and details for the Operational teams to achieve a first time resolution.  The role involves particular focus on manual coordination of works across multiple systems working closely with all parts of Service Delivery and Operations.

Morrison Water Services play a key role in the AMP6 Metering contract. The main purpose of the contract is to deliver the metering programme for Thames Water, engaging customers in the process, and installing and replacing water meters.

To be considered for this role you need to be available on Wednesday 2nd October 2024 between 9am to 12pm or 1pm to 4pm to attend an assessment day at Worcester House, Unit 6 Langley Quay, Waterside Drive, Langley, SL3 6EY.

You must be able to start 4-5 weeks in-house training Monday 11th November 2024 if successful.

You will be required to bring with you your Right to Work in the UK and proof of your current address.

As a Non Household Metering Case Handler, your duties and responsibilities will be:

  • Work closely to build strong relationships with all internal and external stakeholders including retailers, commercial customers, scheduling, escalations and Thames Water operations.
  • Use of FSL to book customer appointments by telephone and email.
  • Supporting the management of works at all stages to hit challenging Service Level Agreements
  • Manage customer complaints and escalations when required
  • Updating corporate work management systems to track work progress and maintain an accurate audit trail of works history.
  • Ensuring field teams complete scheduled work and that all details from the field are correct for billing.
  • Ensure all work is progressed within SLA and that we work compliantly at all times
The Key Requirements
  • Ability to negotiate and manage stakeholders
  • Proven IT skills particularly MS excel, Thames Water Metering Systems and OFS
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to manage customers
  • Strong analytical capability
  • Flexible Team worker
  • Ability to work volumes under pressure

Additional Information:

Average 42.5 hours a week, Monday-Friday hours 08:00 to 17:00. Overtime at agreed rate.
